Testimonials
"I got so much more than just sisters and friends. I got an amazing Delhi family that I wouldn't trade for the world! Even after graduating I still have so many life long friends out of the sisters I call my own. I have a lot of fun memories about Z ΔT, such as random trips to Oneonta, the drag show we hosted, our girl scout pool party event, recruiting new ladies to become part of our sisterhood and so much more! My favorite part about Z ΔT was being New Member Educator. It was so much fun (and stressful) watching our potential new members become sisters."
-Candice Parkinson, Alpha Beta, Fall 2010. Former Z ΔT President and New Member Educator
From my almost 3 years of being a sister of Zeta Delta Tau, I have gotten more out of it than I have ever dreamed. My confidence and leadership skills have soared and I have taken charge on many projects within the organization and outside of it. I cannot imagine my life without my sisters. They are my best friends, my anchors, and the people who I know will always be there if I need them. There are so many events that we do each semester that I love being apart of. Ducky Derby is always a fun one, and we always reach out to different organizations to help us with it so it helps us get more involved with other greeks. "
-Sydney Wunder, Alpha Omicron, Spring 2017 Former Z ΔT New Member Educator and President
"I pledged in the spring of 1998 and I have so many favorite memories. I love my line sisters and we had so much fun together. The bond that you form with your line is something special. Your sisters have your back and are there when you need a shoulder to cry on. No matter where we are in life your sisters love you and will be there for you."
- Laurie Hagen Spring 1998 Epsilon Class, Former Greek Life Senator for Greek Executive Board
"I am forever grateful of the bonds that I have created with all of my sisters. That even after college I still keep in touch with sisters and continue to make memories. Before I pledged I went home every month while I was in college because I only live 1 hour from Delhi. Once I crossed you couldn’t get me out of Delhi. I stayed every weekend to be with my sisters and of course for community service events. I even stayed in Delhi over the summers to work on the paint crew and 1 summer there were 4 ΖΔΤ sisters on the crew and we had such a blast"
-Traci Upton Fall 2005, Rho Class, Former New Member Educator and Recording Secretary
"My favorite times in ZDT were honestly when we all hung out and did community service. We supported each other during other activities like going to Greek council, drama club shows, and other events that sisters where involved in. When you needed a trip to Oneonta to just vent or to get away there was always someone there to hang out with. Even though we didn't always see eye to eye we always saw heart to heart and still to this day could call anyone of them if I needed them. ZDT got me out of my quiet shell and got me through some of my toughest moments and made me the strong woman I am today."
- Kelsey Dehey Spring 2010 Omega Class
“ZDT definitely gave me a purpose in college! My first year I never really got involved on campus and I pledged for ZDT in the spring of my sophomore year because I truly loved all the girls and the sororities purpose! They actually kept me super distracted when my at the time boyfriend and now husband left for basic training, and always made sure to cheer me up when I was sad! I always loved doing our community service events because we made them so much fun! I’m definitely proud to be a sister of zeta delta tau, and would pledge for them again in a heartbeat”
